• Electric wax knives and waxers. A variable-temperature waxing pen lets you carve and add wax without burning it. Temperature control is the whole point - too hot and the wax flows and loses detail; too cool and it drags.
• Wax melters and dipping pots. Used to melt and hold wax at a working temperature for dipping or pouring, so the material stays consistent through a session.
• Impression dispensing guns. Guns deliver impression material from a cartridge or mixing tip at a controlled rate. Cartridge delivery (1:1, 2:1) and auto-mixing (4:1, 10:1) versions suit different material systems.
• Tip and cartridge compatibility. The gun, the cartridge and the mixing tip have to match, so confirm the material system you use before ordering.
