What the card layout saves you

Twenty brackets on one card, split into the four quadrants and numbered 5 down to 1, means the sequence you bond in is the sequence they sit in. Roth or MBT - how to choose

Both are 0.022 slot and both carry 3-4-5 hooks; the difference is the torque and tip values built into the prescription. Roth is the more forgiving of the two and is what most clinicians coming from a standard edgewise background expect. MBT builds in more buccal root torque in the upper arch. If your cases are already set up on one, stay on it - switching mid-treatment means re-learning the values you are applying.

Why a cast body rather than a welded one

A welded bracket is assembled from a body and a base joined at a seam. That seam is where failures start: the wings can work loose, and the slot can lose the precision the wire depends on. A cast body is one piece of metal, so there is no seam to fail and the slot geometry holds through the treatment.

Bonding and debonding

Standard technique: etch, prime, adhesive on the cast pad, seat and clean up. The pad is cast as part of the body and carries a dotted surface pattern, so the adhesive keys mechanically across the full footprint instead of relying on a woven mesh layer. On removal it releases at the enamel surface rather than pulling pad material with it.
