Orthodontic Accessories from Orthdent

The accessories around the bracket are what turn a set of components into a working appliance. This category collects the consumables and small parts that hold a case together - from the wire that ties the arch wire into the slot, to the elastics that close space.

• Ligatures. Stainless steel ligature wire and elastic ligatures (modules) tie the arch wire into the bracket slot.
• Power chain and elastic chain. Used to close space and to hold space closed between appointments.
• Coil springs. Open coil springs open space. Closed coil springs close it.
• Separators and bands. Elastomeric separators create space before banding. Molar bands anchor the appliance.
• Hooks, stops and auxiliary parts. The small parts that fix the position of the wire and give the appliance something to pull on.
