Orthdent Monoblock Bondable Buccal Tubes – Non-Convertible, 50 Sets per Box

Monoblock buccal tubes with a bondable base, single tube, non-convertible, for 1st and 2nd molars. One box holds 50 sets – 200 pieces – across six models: MBT or Roth prescription in 0.022" or 0.018" slot. Bond them chair-side with your usual adhesive; nothing to weld, nothing to convert.

Monoblock means one piece

On a monoblock tube the body and the base are a single welded unit. There is no separate base plate to work loose, and no rocking under wire load – the failure mode you get when a two-piece tube starts to separate mid-treatment. One piece also means fewer parts to inventory and fewer things to go wrong at the chair.

Bondable, not weldable

The base is designed to be bonded directly to the tooth with standard orthodontic adhesive. No banding, no spot welder, no lab step – which is what lets a clinic keep six prescriptions on the shelf and place whichever the case needs.

The weld between body and base is reinforced, so the joint does not give way before the adhesive does. If a tube has to come off, it comes off at the tooth surface, not at the weld.

Designed for chair time, not for the catalogue photo

Precision base groove. A machined groove on the tooth side gives a reference line, so the tube lands straight and at the right height the first time.

Horn mouth entrance. The funneled mouth guides the archwire into the slot instead of catching on the edge – most noticeable on 0.022 slot changes and on the heavier wires.

Flat-sided body. Flat faces give pliers a secure grip for placement and removal without crushing the tube.

Ball hook. Malleable, so it can be bent clear of the gingiva instead of swapping the tube.

Handling and care

Bond with your standard orthodontic adhesive following the adhesive manufacturer's etch and primer protocol. Keep the base dry and uncontaminated before seating – finger contact is the most common cause of a weak bond. Store in the closed box, away from moisture.
